Crossroads Video, Inc. came into being in 1984 in order to market and distribute its acclaimed AMERICAN SCENES English Language Series. This 33-episode, 6.5-hour intermediate-level program is being used throughout North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

AMERICAN SCENES, which was the first American English series to be broadcast in the People's Republic of China, is now considered a "classic" in the field. The bilingual Spanish version, ESCENAS NORTEAMERICANAS, has enjoyed widespread success in both the United States and Latin America.

In 1985, Crossroads began to distribute other language programs, such as the award-winning intermediate level Spanish EL POLÍTICO HONESTO Series. In recent years Crossroads has produced, marketed, and distributed other Spanish and English language series, such as the eight-part ACCENT CORRECTION Series, the two part SPANISH THE EASY WAY Series, the SPANISH SENTENCE GENERATOR™ CD-ROM, and the SPANISH FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS Series.

All series produced and distributed by Crossroads are created and developed by recognized videographers in collaboration with experts in the fields of second language acquisition, linguistics, pronunciation, Spanish language, and ESL / EFL. Instructional materials are classroom tested before they are released for sale.
